John B. Higgins
Mr. Higgins has practiced law in St. Charles and the greater Northern Illinois region for more than 40 years. He began practicing in Kane County in 1981 by serving as an Assistant State’s Attorney. During his tenure at that position, Mr. Higgins honed his skills as a litigator and was honored with the distinction of Prosecutor of the Year. Thereafter, Mr. Higgins was a partner at the prominent St. Charles law firm of Clancy, Higgins and Clancy, spending more than three decades trying cases involving personal injury and premises liability. In the year 2000, he was a founding partner of the firm of Higgins and Burke. He has represented thousands of clients over his career handling personal injury cases for plaintiffs and defendants, contract disputes, real estate transactions and other general legal matters.
Mr. Higgins graduated from Duke University in 1977 and obtained his juris doctorate from DePaul University College of Law in 1980. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Kane County Bar Association and DuPage County Bar Association.
